These women were SO IMPORTANT, but have been ignored other than their spiritual impact on our musical culture. You can't take that away, but it also can't be explained so that people understand it. It has to be FELT! It can be seen and heard without knowing how it came about. And, of course, white people/men take credit. The more money they have, the more credit they take. But that's all another matter.

Dan kept him up all night Thanksgiving eve
singing to nothing but a metronome,
while recording it
for an INDUSTRIAL version of

He was kicking and screaming but
HAD to find out what Dan was up to.

maybe South Carolina for T day,
after being estranged from his family
for years, and here's Dan obsessively
producing this kick-ass music online
with him. He's more backward
than I am with technology.

The recording came out really EXCELLENT!
It's such a trip having this kind of ability
